Dump Bodies Come In A Variety Of Styles

 

The steel dump is useful for carrying and dumping heavy cargo and it takes a good deal of abuse from materials such as rocks, gravel, and dirt. This is also becoming more popular in aluminum to save weight and fuel, plus avoid the potential problem of corrosion. The flatbed or stakebed dump can be very helpful for those who need a dump occasionally. The landscape dump body is a favorite with landscapers and generally is a flatbed with solid wood or steel sides and a swing-away gate system at the rear. It is not meant for heavy items generally, but clippings, brush, and similar materials. You can also get a dump body for a pickup truck, as either an insert or utilizing the truck bed as a dump.

BODY: 9’6” Long, 3.4 to 4.6 cubic yard capacity; 16” tall sides with 22” tall tailgate (100% continuous welded); 50,000 PSI high strength steel throughout

FRONT END: 40” integral one-piece bulkhead with pressed horizontal stiffener and tapered ¼ cab shield, window cut-out, and full-depth front corner pillars; 10 gauge 50,000 PSI high strength steel

SIDES: 12 gauge 50,000 PSI high strength steel, fold down sides with three (3) hidden greaseable hinges, (3) bend dirt shedding top rail with 2” I.D. board pockets front and rear, sloping bottom rail, and no vertical or horizontal braces. Single lever locking cam over mechanism with lever and connecting rods boxed in. Fixed sides also available

LIGHT SYSTEM: Recessed grommet mounted rear marker/clearance lamps in rear corner posts, angled. Three lamp ID bar above rear hitch

PAINT: Sandblasted, prepped, and cleaned. Primer painted with high impact resistant urethane light gray primer with a top coat of single-stage urethane paint
