New Kia WKNDR Is the Craziest Camper Van Ever: It Generates Power While ...

One last post for "National Battery Day"! ⚡🔋

Feast your eyes on this electrifying creation from last year’s SEMA Show in Nevada! KIA went full mad scientist on this one, unveiling an all-electric camper van that looks ready for an off-grid adventure—or maybe even a futuristic road trip movie.

The KIA WKNDER PV5 is a wild prototype where imagination ran completely off-leash. Cool features? Check. Bold design? Absolutely. Practical? Who cares—it’s a prototype! If you missed SEMA last year, here’s your sneak peek (not "seek peak"—we promise no mountain climbing is required to watch this). 🚐⚡🌿

Would you take this on your next camping trip? Let us know! 👇🔥

The truckers in a shed beating Tesla with 100-yr-old EV tech

"In honor of National Battery Day, here’s a high-voltage video to amp up your day! ⚡🔋"

Edison Motors, a Canadian startup, somehow managed to be the first to take a proven technology—diesel-electric hybrid power—and slap it into a semi-truck. You’d think someone would’ve done this before, but nope! Founded by two former truckers who got tired of waiting for their Tesla Semi order to roll in (we assume they’re still holding their breath), they decided to take matters into their own grease-stained hands.

And honestly, the idea just makes too much sense. Fully electric semis? Great for short trips, but they’re pricey, heavy, and not exactly cut out for long-haul trucking. A diesel-electric hybrid, on the other hand, is cheaper, weighs about the same as a regular semi (because it doesn’t need a massive engine), and can still pull its weight—literally—on a thousand-mile trip. Plus, it runs way cleaner than a traditional diesel rig, since the engine only hums along at peak efficiency to keep the batteries charged. Even with extra batteries and e-axles, it’s still just as easy to service as a regular semi, mainly because it skips all the complicated emissions wizardry.

So, while the world waits for battery breakthroughs, Edison Motors is out here proving that sometimes, the best way forward is a clever remix of what already works.
