Tommy Gate Rear Camera Kits
Tommy Gate now has a new Rear Camera Sensor Bar Option for Ford Superduty pickup liftgates.
The incorporation of rear camera technology in modern pickup trucks has rapidly increased over the past couple of years. According to a DOT mandate passed in 2014, all vehicles under 10,000lbs must be outfitted with the technology by May 2018.
In order to maximize liftgate versatility and compatibility with such technology, the Tommy Gate engineering team has designed a one-of-a-kind Rear Camera & Sensor Bar kit for many newer model trucks.
The application chart that lists available kits and their corresponding truck models has been updated to include some Ford Superduty models and may be viewed here.
Rear Camera Bar kits are application specific and only available for the newest pickup models. Tommy Gate will continue to release additional applications as future pickup models are released.

What Spreader is Right for the Job?
No two ice removal jobs are the same, and that is why we offer multiple options to meet your specific needs. With a variety of features to back you up in your ice control efforts, confusion may arise regarding which BOSS spreader is right for you. Below is a description of the similarities and key differences between the FORGE and VBX spreaders to assist you in your decision!
Hopper Capacity: The VBX line offers multiple hopper capacity options to fit your needs – 1.5, 2, and 3 cubic yard capacity
Enclosed Spinner Motor: With a ¾ horsepower stainless steel spinner motor, the VBX gives you all the power you need without the maintenance of a gas-powered feed system. Also, the spinner motor is weather and dust sealed to ensure performance, durability, and reliability.
Hopper Material: The double-walled Polyethylene hopper provides a spreader that is durable, corrosion resistant, and low maintenance.
Standard Tarp: The VBX comes standard with a tarp to protect your de-icing materials from snow and moisture on the job.
LCD Screen In-Cab Controller: To make your life even easier, BOSS has equipped the VBX with an in-cab LCD display controller that allows you to manage spreader functions at the touch of a button. The LCD screen is backlit for clear visibility and ease of use.
LED Work Lights: BOSS knows that many ice removable jobs take place after normal hours, so LED work lights are a standard feature that illuminate the spreader at night.
Spinner Assembly: In addition to the swing-out feature on the spinner assembly – which makes for an easy removal of excess material – the VBX allows for further spinner customization. Users can easily adjust the height of the spinner to set their desired spreading range.

Hopper Capacity: The FORGE 2.0 spreader is only available in one size – 2 cubic yard capacity with a minimum bed length required of 6’6.”

Switch-N-Go™: S-Model
Switch-N-Go’s™ S-Model system is designed to work on medium duty work trucks with room for little or no overhang. Equipping your truck with a Switch-N-Go™ S-Model your truck has all the benefits of the Switch-N-Go™ system with the bonus of no frame overhang which allows for easier towing.
Available in 9’, 10’ and 11’ versions the S-Model has all of the features of the Original Switch-N-Go™ body changing system, plus the added benefit of no frame overhang.
The S-Model is designed to run with electronically powered hydraulics. This saves you the expense of adding a power take-off and pump to your automatic transmission. The system is offered with 12,000 or 15,000 pound pull capacity winches. The Switch-N-Go™ system has all of the benefits of a dump body as the scissor hoist will achieve a 50-degree dump angle, which is perfect for dumping mulch, asphalt, compacted soil, and more, dumping upwards of 10 tons.
